Mr. Etienne Twizeyimana, Country Researcher at International Center for EduTech Impact; WiKIT & Ph.D. Scholar in Chemistry Education at University of Rwanda-College of Education/Kigali/Remera Campus. Etienne holds dual master's degrees in natural science in chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and M.Ed. planning, management, and administration from Mount Kenya University (MKU). With a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Rwanda College of Education and a Rwandan secondary advanced certificate in mathematics, chemistry, and biology from Petit Seminaire Saint Kizito de Zaza in 2011. Currently, he is serving as a full-time chemistry teacher at The Society of Jesus in Rwanda/Saint Ignatius High School located in Kibagabaga, Gasabo district, Kigali-Rwanda. Etienne Twizeyimana is conversant with quantitative and qualitative research methods. He is an active researcher in education with a strong research interest in science education, i.e., teaching and learning approaches, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, laboratory practices as inquiry processes, and students' achievement, among others. With several published research articles in international peer-reviewed journals such as SN Social Sciences (Springer Publisher), Macromolecular Research (Springer Publisher), and ACS Applied Bio Materials (American Chemical Society), among others. He also serves as a reviewer for various academic journals, i.e., Cogent Education, Discover Education, Frontiers in Education. Renowned for delivering modules of Research Methodology, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, General Chemistry, and Electrochemistry among others to Undergraduate students of various levels at Kigali Independent University ULK & University of Technology and Arts of Byumba UTAB. Etienne remains committed to improving instructional delivery to enhance education systems in Rwanda and beyond.
